Meet our Pastor:
Pastor Diana Linden-Johnson began her ministry at Peace Lutheran in El Paso on June 11, 2016. A native of Colorado, Pastor Diana’s faith and call to ministry were deeply shaped by ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), including participation in Sunday school and youth group at Zion Lutheran in Loveland, CO and working at Sky Ranch Lutheran camp as a young adult. She studied English and Creative Writing at The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, graduating in 1999. Following graduation Diana served as a full-time volunteer with the Border Servant Corps (BSC) at Iglesia Luterana Cristo Rey (Christ the King Lutheran Church), a Spanish-speaking ELCA congregation in El Paso, Texas. She earned her Master of Divinity in 2005 from Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO and a Master of Arts in Congregational Mission and Leadership from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN, in 2016. She has served as the Director of the Border Servant Corps in El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM, the Minister of Education and Discipleship at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denver, and the Interim Director of Faith Formation at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Loveland. Diana and her partner, Michaele, live in El Paso with their two children. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with friends and family, gardening, hiking, biking and camping. Pastor Diana loves being in ministry with God’s people, walking with other through life’s joys and struggles, and helping connect faith with daily life through worship, prayer, learning, service and play.
